Dr. Taufiq Mulyanto is an associate professor at the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia. He is the chair of the Aircraft Design, Operation, and Maintenance (ADOM) research group. His main research related to aircraft design and biomimetics. He has been involved in many research projects corresponding to aircraft design both in national and international level. In the past, he designed the Wing in Surface Effect craft 8-seater which was a big collaboration between university and government agency back in 2008. He also designed several UAVs for the government agency.

Dr. Taufiq Mulyanto finished his bachelor from ITB in 1996 and master’s degree from ENSAE, France in 1999. He continued his doctorate in the same university and finished it in 2003 with topic of “Utilisation des Techniques de Propagation de Contraintes pour la Conception d’Avions”.

His teaching activities cover Research Methology, Aircraft Design, Special Case in Aircraft Design, Engineering Drawing, and Design Optimization.
