Dr. Hisar M. Pasaribu is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia. He is a senior member of Aircraft Design, Operation, and Maintenance (ADOM) research group. He is very active in many different fields corresponding to aerospace and aviation fields. He is also a member of National Transportation Safety Committee (Indonesia NTSC) and Indonesian Institute of Engineers (PII).

Dr. Hisar M. Pasaribu finished his PhD in Aeronautics from Cranfield Institute of Technology, U.K. in 1992 where he also got his master’s degree in 1990. He got his bachelor’s degree from Mechanical Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung in 1987.

His teaching activities cover Aircraft Design, Airworthiness Certification, Flight Operation, Accident Investigation, and Air Transportation.
