Dr. Firman Hartono is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia. He is a member of Aircraft Design, Operation, and Maintenance (ADOM) research group. He obtained his doctorate from Institut Teknologi Bandung in 2007 in the field of propulsion. His master’s degree was obtained also from Institut Teknologi Bandung in 2002 as well as his bachelor’s degree in 2000.

His research activities mainly related to aircraft propulsion. He teaches aircraft propulsion, instrumentation, measurement, and experiment, and Aerodynamics.
